BBQ Smoke Box

Client since 2022.

The owners of BBQ Smoke Box came to us as a referral from another client after having issues with the company who was supposed to be maintaining their site. After it had been hacked and subjected to viruses they were failing to maintain it’s security. The site was hacked a 2nd time and at that point had corrupted and disabled the ecommerce portion of the WordPress/WooCommerce site.

Ecommerce Design

Using a brand new installation on WordPress, we built a new website, custom designed a template based on their desired look and manually moved all the existing content to the new site. Import and export functions were corrupted.

Using WooCommerce, all the products, categories and checkout functionality were migrated over and set up, as well as a new integration with eShipper was added. Security and speed plugins were added, as well as hosting it on our servers, which provides daily backups, something the other company lacked.

Maintenance

We have maintained the site ensuring the software, theme and plugins are all updated regularly. Security plugins have been maintained and since moving to our servers have never been hacked again or subject to any viruses.

We’ve also assisted with adding new categories, new products and added bundling as their product line has grown. As well as supporting the site through many issues with eShipper and a migration to Freightcom.
